What is a Paua Shell
Paua Shell (Haliotis Iris) are in the Abalone Family. They're the most colorful of the Abalone Family. They're found in the pristine waters of New Zealand. My Paua Shell Jewelry have beautiful Ocean colors from Blue, green, purple, red and pink. with accents of gold, silver ,black and tan colors. They easily go with anything that you're wearing. They absorb and reflect light which makes the colors change and twinkle and difficult to photograph, to show their real beauty, I'll do my best!

Something About Me
I have been doing vendor shows the past 3 + years in the Florida Keys. Now, Ms Paua Jewelry has an online store. I have been making Paua Shell Jewelry for about 20 years now. For me it's been a life long wait to finally have a jewelry store.
I've been a rock hound all of my life, I like to use natural Gemstones in my creations, but once and awhile I find other interesting things worthy of using too.
I fell in love with Paua Shells about 20 years ago. I just love the colors. I was a SCUBA instructor and bartended in the Keys. I would wear them at the bar and always got complements on them. Now my customers tell me they get compliments on them too. That makes me so Happy!

Posts are the shortest of all my Paua Shell Jewelry. The posts are of Stainless Steel no nickel no lead with a comfort back. I'm thinking hypo-allergenic, many people have metal allergies.
Clip On Earrings are now in their own category and are on various metals that are unknown to me.

Shorties are up to 1 1/2 " length. Measured from the ear hole to the end. Some are on Stainless Steel Posts with comfort back and small Paua Shell dangle. Others have handcrafted ear wires of tarnish resistant coated wire and some on stainless steel. All are super light weight.

Medium Length are about 1 1/2'' to 2 1/2". All measurements are approximate. This artisan design dangle earring is made with gemstones, crystals and/or pearls mostly on Stainless Steel Lever-Back ear wires with beautifully matched Paua shells.

Long Dangles are everything over 2 1/2". Mostly on Stainless Steel Lever Backs. Well Matched Paua Shells w/gemstones, pearls and/or crystal embellishments. My customers like the security of the lever back ear wires. My artisan design jewelry are very light weight unless noted in the description. Not everyone likes the long dangles, but they're my favorites for sure. All quality handmade jewelry.

My Paua Shell Bracelets are made with a combination of quality Gemstones, Pearls and/or Crystals on a coated flexible wire, leather and some knotted. Some are adjustable, others are measured in inches. Find your size with a string or measure a bracelet that you like from end to end. I use various closures on my Paua Shell Jewelry. I also have Bracelet and Earring Sets available in my store.
